MIYC swimming facilities include a large roped-in swimming area off the northern side of the main dock which includes access stairs and a swimming raft. A small sandy beach provides a place for small children to perfect their swimming skills until they are ready for the “deep-end”.  No life guard is on duty, so swimmers and their parents are responsible for their own safety.
