MIYC maintains a limited number of guest moorings for visitors by boat.  Two 1,000 lb. guest moorings are available for $40 each per day, or any part thereof.

There is no launch service available to get to and from your guest mooring. The MIYC dinghy dock is available for use by guest mooring renters with a small dinghy or tender.

Guest mooring renters are welcome to use the Club facilities during daylight hours, including the dock, bathrooms, showers and picnic area.

Please hail a Club Steward before you arrive to check in, be assigned a mooring, and to provide payment information.   Club Stewards monitors VHF Channel 10 from 8 am to 7 pm.  If you arrive after hours, you may tether to any available guest mooring, which are round mooring balls marked with "MIYC", and check in the following morning.

Please be reminded that the waters of Masons Island and Fishers Island sound are included in Connecticut’s No Discharge Area. This means that discharge of treated or untreated sewage from any vessel is prohibited in these waters. If you have sanitary facilities on your boat, Pete’s Marine Services has a pumpout boat that will come to your location upon request. It is 75% funded by the State of Connecticut so there is no fee but tips to the boat operators are allowed. Please call 860-848-2627.

Renters of a guest mooring will be charged for their first night immediately, and the remainder will be charged after their stay.
