The Mason's Island Yacht Club has the following membership types:

 

Active Membership: All current property owners within the Masons Island Property Owners Association (MIPOA) and Masons Homestead Property Owners Association (MHPOA) may apply for an Active Membership to MIYC. Active members are voting members. 

 

Associate Membership: Individuals who reside outside of MIPOA and MHPOA may request to be added to the waiting list for one of the limited Associate Memberships. Associate members are voting members. All Associate Memberships are currently taken and an Associate Membership waiting list is being maintained. 

 

Summer Privilege: MIYC invites other individuals and families to apply for a Summer Privilege, which is available to: 1) a child or grandchild of a current Active or Associate Member, 2) a renter of a home within MIPOA or MHPOA,  3) past Active Members in good standing who no longer live within MIPOA or MHPOA, and 4) a former Junior Member or former Summer Privilege who has lost their familial connection to an Active or Associate member.   Summer Privilege are available for June/July, August/September, or the Full Summer Season. Individuals or Families with Summer Privilege are not voting members.

All applicants for a new Active or Associate membership, and all new Summer Privilege, must be sponsored by two current members and approved by the Trustees. When joining the club for the first time, an applicant must list their sponsors on the application. Sponsors must send their letters of recommendation for the applicant to the Member and Guest Committee. See Sponsor Guidelines HERE. 

PLEASE NOTE - For Summer Privilege renewals, applicants must submit an updated application form, but Sponsor letters are not required.
